What is this?: 

We select the best piquillo peppers and grill them over beech wood. We peel them without water so as not to lose their flavour. It is a very laborious process, but with delicious results. They are filled with a delicate bechamel shellfish sauce and accompanied by a delicious sauce also based on shellfish. It is a painstaking process with a delicious and healthy result: low in fat (2.4%) and salt (0.26g per 100g of product).

Ingredients: 

Piquillo peppers (38%), fish and shellfish broth (fish broth: water and conger; shellfish: (6%) in variable proportion of Norway lobster, shrimps and pink shrimps ), shrimps (6%), whiteleg shrimps (4%), vegetable oil (sunflower), tomato, onion, leeks, carrots, rice flour, milk, rice, garlic, salt, brandy, spices and antioxidants (ascorbic acid and E-385).

Suggestions: 

Our stuffed Piquillo red peppers are very delicate and the best was of serving them is to open the tin and take them out one by one with a spoon and pour the sauce over them. They are best prepared, heating them in the oven at a moderate temperature or in a casserole over a low flame. They may be served with cooked and peeled shrimps, cooked crab, griddled crayfish or any other kind of shellfish.
