Description

The Casar de Burbia white wine is a single-varietal Godello wine produced by the Casar de Burbia winery. It is made with Godello vineyards from the middle reaches of Valtuille de Arriba, 600 meters above sea level, where the soils are dominated by medium-sized clays and stones. The altitude of these vines slows down the maturation and the harvest is delayed an average of 20 days compared to the lowest payments. The winery makes a great effort to make Casar Godello a guard wine. It is protected by the Bierzo designation of origin.


Type: Monovarietal white wine without crinaza in oak barrels, DO Bierzo.

Varietals: Godello (100%).

Aging: It is not aged in oak barrels.



ELABORATION:

The Casar de Burbia Godello wine is born from a manual harvest. After cold pre-maceration of the must, low-temperature fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks that extend over an average of 45 days, depending on each harvest. Subsequently, a long aging with its fine lees, of approximately eight months, to give the godello its final fine-tuning.


TASTING:

Bold, ripe and lush aromas of peach and mango leading to a smooth,> delicious and meaty palate that has a long, ripe sweet fruit core.

Casar de Burbia Godello is complex and elegant. In the mouth it is creamy, creamy and with a good volume. Its good acidity gives it a great final freshness.

Casar de Burbia white wine pairs perfectly with seafood, fish paellas, baked white fish, blue fish, cow's cheese.
